Delete your REELQUIP account

Your REELQUIP account is the membership account you use to sign in to the REELQUIP mobile app and to www.reelquip.com.au. You can ask us to delete it and the personal information associated with it at any time.
How to request deletion
Choose either option:
- From the app: open Settings → Delete Account and follow the prompt. This brings you to this page.
- By email: send a message to info@reelquip.com.au from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account".
We may need to verify your identity before actioning the request, normally by confirming you control the account's email address.
What gets deleted
Once we verify your request, we permanently delete:
- your profile (name, email, company, contact details);
- your login credentials and any active sessions;
- your REELQUIP membership record and its status history;
- support correspondence that is not required for a legal or dispute-resolution purpose.
This is completed within 30 days of verifying your request. You will receive confirmation by email when it is done.
What we keep, and why
A limited set of records is retained after deletion where the law requires it or where we have an overriding legitimate need:

Retained records are minimised and, wherever possible, de-identified so they can no longer be linked to you.
Inspection data on your device
The REELQUIP app stores your inspection photos, videos, annotations, job profiles and reports on your device only — we never receive them. Deleting your account does not touch that data. To remove it:
- delete individual inspections or jobs within the app, or
- delete the app from your device, which removes all of its data from that device.
Anything you have already exported or shared yourself (for example, a PDF report you emailed) is outside our control.
Cancelling vs deleting
Deleting your account is permanent and also ends your membership. If you only want to pause or cancel your membership while keeping your account, contact info@reelquip.com.au instead.
